Hi!

I have read a couple of threads of corrupted mbr etc, but i don´t know if they have been solved.
Anyway, I have/had a harddrive that acted very weird after I have installed W10. But it worked at first,..say 1 month or so. Suddenly when i was surfing the harddrive started to spinn or work very hard and the computer started to work like it was full of jelly. The cpu was at 100% but I was managed to do a reboot afterall. After the reboot the motherboard couldn´t find the harddrive, so I went in to the Bios and the harddrive was gone with the wind...but the drive was still spinning, well working at it full speed. I accepted the crash and bought a new harddrive. After a while a plugged in that corrupted drive again and the Bios did find the drive this time, but it was still working at full speed. After a rebbot I went into Windows again and find the drive in disk management. The drive had this "raw" file system. I tried a several of these drive management software but none could solve the drive, all I wanted now was a format but it didn´t work. Next reboot, the drive was gone again and been so. I have tried several of times to find the drive in Bios but now the point of no return has been reached. This is my last hope to find the drive so I´m turning to you guys if you have a solution for me?! :) The reason I want the drive back so bad is that I have over 500 pictures I´have done in Cinema 4d and spent a huge number of hours to make them and now they are so gone...:( (I have a backup of my pictures but not all of them, say I have 200 pics left)

I have no idea how to get them back if you can´t help me...

PS1: I have tried the drive with these SATA cables that this new drive runs on, so there are no problems with the cables .
PS2: If I plug in the drive right now as a D: drive, it will start to spinn and make the cpu work at 100% again and make my computer to look like a jelly fish again, but it will not show more then 1 drive in Bios, disk management etc...
PS3: Some of my pics can you find here: www.kentinet.st and here https://my.desktopnexus.com/slidrugtanne/uploads/ :)
PS4: I have a strong suspicion what have done this, and it might be this onedrive program that follows W8 and W10 but I´m only 90% sure of it...

Solution
That is a bad drive, not much you can do with it now. Nothing to do with the mbr, that is only for using it as a boot drive not for issues with hardware.

You may have a chance with swapping the system board, but that is a small chance as you need to get the exact same board as is on the current drive and even then it may not work.
