My GF's (Android) Tablet says the SD card is missing in the statusbar and in storage it says there is a corrupted sd card inserted. Device lost 80% of the apps. And am unable to find the SD card anymore when I usb connect the tablet to my computer, but have not tried connecting it directly with a SDcard adapter yet as I might aswell buy a new SD card as the difference is not too much.
Not sure if the SD CARD was set as external or internal as its my GF's tablet.
Would be nice to have the card and data restored, but all I have found from my searches so far will either not work with or screw up internal storage set cards.
So anyone know any software or the like that can see either fix both Internal and external SD cards or tell me what type it was assigned to originally so I can try a recovery with the least risk of data loss?.
Alternatively if its unfixable would a corrupt internal sd card risk main internal storage being filled with junk so I should factory reset her device or can I just tell device to forget old SD card then either reformat the old SD card or a get new one, then start adding apps back from there?
