Corrupted HDD?

Every morning at work I have to run Error-Checking twice before my computer connects to the internet. I have deleted the drivers and reinstalled it for the Ethernet but that doesn't work. This takes up at least 2 hours a day so does this mean I have a corrupted HDD?

What error checking are you running that you think is fixing your internet connection? What OS, kind of ethernet connection, internet connection? We need alot more info to be able to even guess what your problem is.

The HDD is very unlikely to have anything to do with an internet connection problem.
