My 1 TB drive D is corrupted and I can’t store anything in it i tried to format it and try running chkdsk on it but I still can’t store anything in it eg. if I copy in video I can’t open it and causes my whole pc to crash

Run CrystalDiskInfo on the drive and post a screenshot here.
Is this a new drive?
Are you getting a particular error saying it is corrupted?
Is anything stored on the drive as it is?

Thank you for your reply I’m currently away from home so I’ll try this when I go back I’ll be about another month or two
