Corrupted memory stick

I cant read or open any of the files on my memory stick, the script looks like Japanese, or gobbledygook. How can I convert the files so they are readable again?

I got the same issue, your memory stick is corrupted
you can try scanning for errors with the error checking tool in windows (go to Computer > (right click your memory stick) > propreties > tools > error-checking
By memory stick do you mean usb drive?
