I have a corrupted SD Card and I am looking for any software that is able to salvage the contents.

As I understand it, the card was removed from a PC (Linux OS) during the formatting stage. The card was accidentally formatted instead of an external hard drive.

The card, at this point, cannot be mounted and the contents is crucial... as in price is not a factor.

In the past I have been able to salvage corrupted SD cards by force mounting the partition with Linux and copying the data onto a clean drive. For this situation, that is not an option.

I have tried many recovery software in the past, however, many had failed to due the job either from a corrupted partition not being able to be mounted or the software only recovering temporary shadow files which are useless in most circumstances. The source provided by rgd1101 @ www.tomshardware.com/picturestory/655-ssd-flash-recovery.html led me to an earlier post @ http://www.tomshardware.com/picturestory/642-data-recovery-hard-drive-failure.html The Seagate Recovery Software covered in the post saved those files perfectly. Thank you rgd1101 for the lead.
