I currently have a 750W Corsair HX Series Modular ATX2.2 SLI/Crossfire Compliant Power Supply but I have recently moved house and cannot locate the original kettle lead (the piece that connects to the mains) could someone tell me what amp and fuse this lead should have as this will help me to narrow down which cable it is?

e.g. is it 5v with a 5 amp fuse, 10v with a 10 amp fuse?

Thanks in advance as I can't start my computer till I find the right cable!

Hi

Normally fused mains plugs are only found in UK.

Rated current capacity for cable depends on if 110 V in USA or 230 V in most other countries.

If a fused plug is used in UK typically a 5A fuse is used unless a very high power psu is used when the psu or pc manufacturers recommendations should be followed .

Not sure where 5V or 10V comes from as mains usually at 110v or 230v

The connector at the psu end is not a kettle lead, kettle lead connectors are specially designed to stand up to high temperatures and are similar size to iec connectors
