Hello, I'm in need of a psu and have so far found Corsair's RM850i and AX860 to be quite good for my needs. But I was wondering on what the differences are specifically.

Here are the two I'm talking about;

AX860 ATX — 860 Watt 80 PLUS® PLATINUM Certified Fully-Modular

RMi Series™ RM850i — 850 Watt 80 PLUS® Gold Certified Fully-Modular

So what is the better one to go for?

Solution
Corsair AX Platinum is an older model, it wasn't bad but i imagine that the unit itself isn't by any means new, probably around 3-4 years old stock at least. Is Corsair RM-i used/old stock too ? I wouldn't recommend buying an used/old stock PSU but if you really have no other options i consider them equally good so just go for the one that were manufactured more recently (probably RM-i).
