Here is my current part picker setup

https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Spartagus423/saved/#view=cd6TCJ

Will the parts fit comfortably and will it have enough cooling for the 9900KS?

I am on the fence on which case to get. I don't want tempered glass because I hate RGB light show in cases. I want just a black case like my old which is a NZXT Source 210 Black it looks and feels so good. I need a mid tower case for my desk.

Please help me I keep asking but need some guidance.. I am a noob.

NH-D15 fans may touch the side panel of 200R since NH-D15 is 165mm tall and 200R has up to 165mm of CPU cooler clearance.

Also, Trident Z RGB has height of 45mm, while RAM clearance under NH-D15 front fan is only 32mm. This is easily fixable if you mount the front fan at the back of the heatsink, near MoBo rear I/O to get enough RAM clearance.
Like so:

Other than that, there's no other clearance issues.

I found this list over at anandtech. I'll let you look through them. You could always use the 200R. You already know it's a tight squeeze but may work out ok. Just tryin to help. Cheers.

I appreciate your help but I need a Mid Tower not a full tower without the window on the sides..I just want plain black mid tower with out facing USBs and Quiet and air cooling..They have to exist.

I need space for the D15, 2o80 Ti, and Trident Ram Clearance.

so far it looks like Obsidian Series 550D Mid Tower Case looks good but seems like it is unavailable everywhere.

Also is this cpu cooler the same as the other d15?

Noctua NH-D15 chromax.black, 140mm dual-tower

Is there a difference between the Noctua NH-D15 chroma black 140mm, Noctura NH-D15 SSO2 D-Type Premium CPU Cooler, or Noctua NH-D15 SSO2 D-Type Premium CPU Cooler, NF-A15 x 2 PWM Fans

For another PC case, how about Cooler Master Silencio S600 (167mm CPU cooler clearance),
pcpp: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/GR...cio-s600-atx-mid-tower-case-mcs-s600-kn5n-s00
specs: https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/cases/mid-tower/silencio-s600/#Clearances

Fractal Design Define R5 (180mm) is also good choice,
pcpp: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/sjX2FT/fractal-design-case-fdcadefr5bk
specs: https://www.fractal-design.com/products/cases/define/define-r5/black/

Or Antec P100 (170mm),
pcpp: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/qszv6h/antec-case-p100
specs: https://antec.com/product/case/p100.php

Though, since choosing a PC case is personal choice, go with the one that you like the most.

Now, about coolers.
NH-D15, specs: https://noctua.at/en/products/cpu-cooler-retail/nh-d15
NH-D15 chromax.black, specs: https://noctua.at/en/products/cpu-cooler-retail/nh-d15-chromax-black

Only diffs between the two are looks and different fan used on them. NH-D15 uses 2x Noctua NF-A15 PWM fans with brown/beige coloring (instant love or hate) while NH-D15 chromax.black uses 2x Noctua NF-A15 HS-PWM chromax.black fans and has sleek black finish.

Btw, "Noctura NH-D15 SSO2 D-Type Premium CPU Cooler" and "Noctua NH-D15 SSO2 D-Type Premium CPU Cooler, NF-A15 x 2 PWM Fans" are one and the same where in the latter case, the fan names are also listed.

I'm not sure what Newegg is talking about as far as the 140mm dimension. If you look at the detailed dimensions it reads 165mm max CPU cooler height. I'm guessing that includes the fans. The heatsink by itself is listed as 160mm in height.
Most likely the "140mm" is reference to the fan size used on NH-D15. NF-A15 PWM fans are classified under 140mm category at Noctua page but they are essentially 150mm fans.

I just want to say I do appreciate all the help and patience you showed me through these messages. It is nice to get help because I am new to this.

Thank you so much for all of this. Looks like Cooler Master Silencio S600 (167mm CPU cooler clearance) might be the winner but is 167mm to close to fit the cpu cooler comfortably?

And also I think the Noctura d15 Chroma black is the choice. I don't mind the color of the beige one if the fans are better I will get that one, but I prefer the black. Most of the time I will not see inside the case unless I open to blow out dust.

As long as the CPU Cooler works awesome for the 9900ks and fits in the case I am down.

Well, it depends what you mean by comfortably. NH-D15 does fit in there and since the fans are the ones that stick out, you can place the fans a bit lower, towards MoBo to get few extra millimeters of space when needed.

As far as NH-D15 vs NH-D15 chromax.black goes, there is no performance difference between the two. Only difference is aesthetical (color).

Oh, any particular reason why you go with i9-9900KS and not i9-9900K? Since i9-9900KS has it's on-board graphics disabled and you can not use the CPU without dedicated GPU, just like AMD CPUs are. i9-9900K would be better choice especially when you'd have issues with your PC. Without on-board graphics on CPU, it's impossible to test if the issue could be with your GPU without having 2nd PC where to test out the GPU. With on-board graphics, it's easy, just pull out the GPU and connect monitor to MoBo.

I bought the i9 9900KS because I was reading good things. I also bought the EVGA 2080Ti.

I always feel it is better to separate GPU and CPU..I am using i7 4770K from a few years ago and 1070 and I like them but I wanted to make a new pc.

I think the R5 Define is the case I am choosing. Is Noctura U15 a Radiator?

Also would the 2 stock fans and Noctura U15 2 fans be enough cooling or would I add 1-2 More fans?

Yea I meant to say u15. I probably am on board with getting the NH-D15 Chroma Black one with R5 Case..I am not a fan of USBs sticking from top of case, but it sounds like it is a big case with a lot of room and it is still a Mid Tower, which fits my desk.

Will the 2 fans from R5, the Two fans from U15 be enough to cool down the 9900KS...I don't like running a ton of fans although I do have a 120mm extra fan lying around to add if I need it.

Noctura NH-D15 chroma black, 2080 Ti, 750W Power supply, R5 case is the idea. I have read R5 a few negatives so I am not sure on case still. I like the coolmaster case the best looking but 167mm is so close to 165 so I don't want to have the top of the CPU Cooler touching it.

I just need to build it before the New Year. Also is the Noctura considered a Radiator?

Noctua coolers are air coolers with heatsink aka tower coolers. Radiators are part of the closed loop water coolers (AIO) and open loop water coolers (custom made). Also, radiator sits at the case fan mount location, not above CPU. Above CPU is pump, with tubing going to the radiator.

OK got all my pcs..Now

So I install CPU, Memory, 2 SSDS m2s on board, and CPU Cooler on the mobo before I put it in case right?

I was told to put CPU and SSDS in first then put the Power supply in case.

I am using R5 Case.
