Hello all,
I have built a rig using a 200r case as a tower. Now my question is in regards to the cooling. I have planned to use 1 fan at the front(120mm), 1 at the back(120mm) and two at the top(120 or 140mm) to act as exhaust fans to expel hot air from my system. My question is do I need Static Pressure or Airflow fans to accomplish this? I have read many threads on the issue, but haven't been able to decide. Any help would be gratefully received. Also, with either solutions, do you guys have a preferred fan to use?

static pressure is for restrictive cases (example)(there's a hard drive cage in front of the fan (intake) in that scenario a static pressure performs better than an airflow optimized fan,if you have a lot of space then an airflow fan would be better. It's better to have more intake fans than all exhaust because, when you have all fans exhausting air it creates negative pressure in your case (that's best for performance but it's not recommended because of dust),instead you should go with a positive pressure environment for ''optimal dust to performance'' much better explanation here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sh6F2eccMec and airflow vs static here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXAFYNE7Cl0 hope it helps!
