[SOLVED] Corsair 2400mHz 2x8gb compatible with crucial 2666mHZ 2x4?

So i just bought a new motherboard, ram and cpu and im wondering if my new ram (Corsair 2x8gb 2666mHZ) is compatible with my old (crucial 2x4 2400mHZ) both are ddr4

Mixing kits can sometimes causes issues. The main thing here is that the kits will run at the lowest common speed, so 2400 MHz will be the fastest across the kits.

You won't notice that small of a difference in speed. I'd say look for a good deal on more capacity.
