Discussion Corsair 2400Mhz not working with B450 aorus pro wifi

Hi,

I am using my old corsair 2400Mhz memory with my new Ryzen 5 3600 and B450 aorus pro wifi mobo but windows not booting. BIOS detect 2 ram stick well and running fine, but only windows failed to boot.

After I under clock ram speed to 2133Mhz, windows running fine with no issue. Using XMP profile also not working.

I used these 2 ram with i5-6600k /Z170x gaming 3 with no issue.

My System:
Ryzen 5 3600
B450 Aorus pro wifi
8GBx2 (16GB) corsair 2400Mhz (cmk8gx4m1a2400c16)
Zotac RTX 2060
TT toughpower gold 750w

So, any ideas what can i do to get 2400 speed?

Did you buy that memory as a 16GB kit? The memory model number you list is for a single stick, not a kit.

Not a 16gb kit. Both stick bought separately.

And when using a single stick, do you reach 2400 Mhz ?
And that part number is not on the QVL

If this option exists in your Bios, I would try to increase voltage up to 1.35 v (coming from 1.2 V)

Not working. I think old ram timings not supported by new ryzen.
