Question Corsair 280x owners, I need to know something

My current CPU cooler is a Scythe Fuma 2 (155mm tall). I plan on switching to the Corsair 280x case once I upgrade my PC, but that case only has 150mm of clearance. If you were to loosen the screws on the side panel, would you be able to make up that extra 5mm needed to fit the cooler?
