Corsair 2gb 1600MHz

I would like to upgrade my ram from 6gb to 8gb.. I currently have a corsair xms3 3x2gb pack at 1600mhz.. What ram should i buy? I mostly play games and I don't use any programs that need rendering.. They have 8-8-8-24 timing and the exact model is TR3X6G1600C8..

I believe the latency should be 9-9-9-24 according to corsair website.

Try to find an identical Corsair XMS3 2GB 1600Mhz single module. Otherwise, just look for any module that is DDR3, 1600Mhz, 2GB, CL9 ( or CL8 whichever is correct) and 1.5V.

Mine are 1.65V if that matters and are CL8.. It's written on the modules..

Ok then buy the new ones of the same specs. 1.65V and CL8.

Can try, no guarantees they will play together, any time you mix DRAM it can be and often is problematic
