Hello,

I just completed building new amd ryzen 5 2400g PC on asrock b450 sfeel legend mobo.
I used 2 x 8gb ddr4 3000mhz Corsair memory on slots A1 and B1.

Memory speed is only showing as 2133mhz.
Am I missing something?

Thanks.

Solution
First, shut down your system and move the RAM over to slots A2/B2 as per your motherboard manual.
Second, see if you can find a way to enable XMP in your system BIOS.

Per your suggestion, I moved RAM to A2/B2 and enabled XMP 2.0 Profile 1. Selected DRAM frequency to DDR4-3000 saved and booted to windows. Now both task manager is showing speed as 3000Mhz.
Thank you.
Would you be able to suggest a safest speed I could increase this more to?

3000 is pretty good for a first generation Zen processor. You might be able to get up to 3200. If you want to try you would want to download Thaiphoon Burner to first identify what chips are used in your ram and then Dram Calculator to get all the bios voltages and timings to put in to your bios manually. There are tutorials on youtube showing the usage of those programs.
