Hey everyone so i already purchased my build early this morning and im pretty excited about it.

I was thinking about the 1 140mm fan that it comes with in the front, can it support 2 140's? Or just 2 120's?

The other question is, should i get 2 120's if that's the maximum supported size in the front and replace the 1 140mm that comes with it? I

Also since the fans are really close to the removable front panel... would it be best to with with Static pressure intake fans or is there enough space between the two to be ok with regular airflow intake fans?

Thanks so much for all the help 😛

Solution
It supports x2 140mm in the front.
The difference will be minuscule between SP/AF on the front intake... get whichever is cheaper.

Edit: If you're using corsair fans, use the SP if you're pulling/pushing through mesh/fan filter.
So if you leave that filter in the front, you need SP

Ok so Linus answered the size of the fan's for me in the video just didn't catch it in time. He mentioned that you can install dual 140mm fans in the front. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wB1lQ9t9Bzk

Now looking at the video.... the one that the case comes with it looks like a Static pressure intake fan if i am not mistaken but the question still remains would it be better with two static pressure fans or airflow 😛

Hello, first of all congratz on your new build! :)

I am not sure on the case exact specs when it comes to front in-take fan compatibility but i think if you are going dual fan you should go for dual 120's anyways. But this might also depend on you drive cage configuration.

And yes I would advice Static pressure fans, the front intake is pretty restricted so Static pressure fans will perform better and optimize airflow. I got some experience trying out with restricted front intakes in cases and from my experience you will get much better results since Airflow optimized fans are made to perform in unrestricted, open and direct places.

Hope it helps

Cheers

thanks for the feedback guys, really appreciate it! i think im gonna leave the 140mm in it for now.... I have been thinking since i got the windowless side panel i will buy the window panel later next month so maybe itll be ok running just the 140 it comes with and the 120 exhaust for a little bit.

Once i purchase the window side panel i am thinking of purchasing the Corsair led fans probably in white 😛 Even though i have a red and black theme going on in the case with the mobo, ram, and gpu i think a white accent lighting up the case would be pretty cool 😛

How are your temps inside the case? More fans might not even be necessary.

I hear ya, I haven't actually gotten anything yet... I just ordered the build this morning @ Work before i got off at like 6am 😛

More fans might not be necessary but i wanna have at least two in the front and one exhaust, not gonna bother with the top area either. But i do wanna have those white LED's i mentioned 😛

I thought about a self contained unit / radiator from corsair but i keep hearing mixed reviews.... I mean this is down the line frankly i am keeping my cpu clock speed at stock for a while

thats the build. 0 out the gpu because im getting it next week

Your temps will be fine with the stock cooler, but it gets very loud. You'll also need an aftermarket before you start overclocking it.
Build looks nice! Throw all that on a 1080p monitor and you'll be maxing out games.
But where is your HDD? 🙂

Ah i have a 1TB one i bought for my laptop not that long ago but my laptop was originally purchased used off of somebody and it's been giving me shit since i bough it so im just gonna take out the HDD and use it in my Build for the meantime ~ it's a seagate, cost me like 90 bucks when i got it 😛

I am planning on eventually switching to a SSHD since their faster than regular mechanical drives but i gotta wait a little
