Hey guys, I was wondering what would be the best option in buying a PSU that would support this build without a problem:

Ryzen 5 1600
B350 GAMING Pro
Palit GTX 1070
Avexir 8gb x2 3200mhz DDR4
Kingston 480G SSD
And some RGB fans

Corsair 550W 80+ Bronze ($60)
X- Power 600w 80+ ($56)

I was told that I can run a GTX 1070 without a problem with at least 550W and I'm on a really tight budget but I don't want to compromise the safety of my PC parts. Any thoughts? Thanks !

Those are both poor options. Unfortunately the PSU market is overpriced at the moment. The cheapest Corsair unit I would recommend is a CX550.

Yeah, umm No. The X-power is not good at all. What specific model Corsair were you referring to? I have to agree that the CX550 is as low as I'd go, but it also depends on what's available where you live and your budget.

ANY of the corsair 550w psu's are going to be better than than xpower (assuming it's xigmatek branded it's closer to a 500w psu than a 600w anyway).

At that price point and being rated bronze I assume the corsair is a CV model?

If so it's not great being a group regulated unit but it is a fairly decent unit for what it is.
You at least get all necessary protections and a 5 year warranty.

You should go for something better really but that's market/price dependant.

Btw, I live in the Philippines and I can only buy online due to the pandemic crisis.
