First build. I recently purchased a Corsair 780T case and wanted to know if I should connect the case fans directly to the MB or the built-in case controller for cooling. My concern is if I connect to the built-in fan controller, I would have to manually adjust the speed of the fans using the button instead of it being automatic based on the CPU temp. The MB is an ASUS Maximus Hero IX.

Solution
I have all 5 of my 140mm fans (2 Front Intake, 2 Top and 1 Rear Exhaust) hooked up to the fan controller. I didn't want a bunch of wires around the motherboard. I also just let them run at top speed. The Bitfenix Spectre LEDs are surprisingly quiet.
