On the Corsair website, it says that the 780T has a maximum GPU length of 355mm.

The Gigabyte G1 GTX 970 is 15.9" in length which is 403.86mm.

I need help on figuring if this card is going to fit or not and if removing the HDD cage would give enough room.

I haven't ordered the case yet and I'm second guessing myself if it is going to limit my choices in GPUs in the future due to it's maximum length and if I should pick up a different case

The G1 is not 403mm in length. That is way too big. Gigabyte would never make a card that long because no one's cases would support it. The card is actually 312mm. Hope that helps! You will have no issues at all with putting that card in that case! :)

Thank you :)
I looked on Gigabyte's site and I guess Newegg messed up the dimensions lol

No problem! For future reference, never go to new egg for specifications they always screw stuff up.. A typical one is them saying that some CPUs have hyper threading when they actually dont at all.

lol
I get a feeling they measured the box the GPU comes in and not the actual card
Thanks for the tip~
