I had a total brainfart and thought this meant they owned WD's Raptor and Velociraptor drive patents/technology. I was like "Why would they care to buy that, they sell SSDs. . ."
I'm not familiar with Raptor products, but it seems strange to me that Corsair would buy them when Corsair's lineup is top notch. I should be getting my Vengence M90 by weeks end, the build quality is excellent, but the software has had a rocky start. Maybe they are picking up Raptor for the software?
