Which power supply is better? The Corsair AX850 or AX860i? Also is the Corsair Link software any good? Is it stable now? I keep getting mixed reviews on the AX860i such as DOA or Fails after 5 months.

Also the Corsair AX850 is out of stock on Newegg, anybody know when it will be back on stock?

Right here ^
if i was to get one, it would be niether due to the fact that you can get the exact same psu under a different brand for cheaper such as this

corsair link is useless. no one in reality changes their psu rails from single to dual or quad. its a gimmick

DOAs are normal. ignore reviews

The AXi Series uses digital voltage regulation. The AX series doesn't.

The AXi Series uses Flextronics as the OEM. The AX Series uses Seasonic as the OEM.

The XFX full modular PSUs can only be similar to the AX Series since all of XFX's PSUs use Seasonic as the OEM.

I found this power supply on newegg and its a seasonic which seasonic is a very trusted PSU brand i've been running my seasonic 650w PSU for 3 and a half years of moderate gaming and its still out of the box condition and runs like a charm super quiet too and this PSU is somewhat modular and the same price as corsair non moduar PSU check it out you will like it

Yes I am looking for a fully modular one. I also want gold/platinum certification on it. Which is better this psu or Corsair AX850? The AX850 have higher ratings/reviews on Newegg than the SeaSonic X

1000W is a bit of a overkill for me...Is there a 850W for less money as well by same brand & build quality?

The Corsair Professional Series Gold AX850 (SKU# CMPSU-850AX) is a discontinued model. It is built on Seasonic's X-Series X-850 (SS-850KM) model which has also been discontinued. Any stock remaining is what's left in the distribution channel and is being cleared out.

The new Corsair AX860 is the replacement model. This model is based on the new Seasonic Platinum Series SS-860XP² model.

Then I have little ideas of what power supply to get...The corsair AX860 is out of stock and not only that, have bad ratings on Newegg. Any good power supply that is about 850W, Full Modular, and Gold/Platinum Certified? My specs I am getting other than the PSU is:
CPU: 4th Generation Haswell - Intel Core i7 4770K
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i Liquid Cooler
Video Card: EVGA Nvidia GTX 770 2GB SuperClocked w/Back Plate
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Hero
Storage: 2TB Western Digital Black Caviar HDD & Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB SSD
Memory: 16GB G.Skill 1866 (2x8G)
Case: Cooler Master HAF X
Optical Drive: 2x Asus DVD Burner
Other: Logitech C920 Webcam, Internal Card Reader by Roswell via Internal USB, and Gaming Keyboard/Mouse.

I check with psu wattage sites checkers. I only need about 600W but I want the extra watts like 850W to make it more future proof and less stressful on the system as well as less noise/heat.

Looks good. Thanks.

I was able to get the Corsair Professional Series AX 850 Watt ATX/EPS Modular 80 PLUS Gold (AX850) for about $130 2 weeks ago when they were clearing out stock. Ther might still be selling them at that price.

Update: Amazon themselves don't sell it anymore, but various retailers still do.

I will look into that. What's the difference between adda fan and sanyo deki ace? Which is better?

The Sanyo Denki San Ace 120 9S1212F404 is quieter than the ADDA AD1212MB-A70GL when they're both running at their maximum speed.

The San Ace 120 also uses less power and has a higher static air pressure.

XFX chose to use the ADDA AD1212MB-A70GL because it's cheaper.

Ignore this comment. It's normal for people to receive DOAs. Ratings are based on how a product performs. If the product does not perform, it can not be rated.

Reviews for this product is over 2 years old with 22 DOA complaints. This is far from bad. Consumers are more likely to write a review to complain about a product than to praise it. Anger is a great motivator. **
