Because of my build is set up, I had to make my H60 cooler an intake on the top. Problem is there is no filter for the top, so I was really hoping if someone knew where I could get a magnetic filter that would cover the whole ventilated area on the top of the case.

Thank you

Hello,
Corsair recommends making their H60 an intake for best results, they normally position it at the back, but because of my narrow ATX motherboard if I was to do that it would add a lot of tension on the pipes of my H60, so instead I put it on the top, which allows the pipes to have more room to stretch.

I've monitored the temperatures with this set up and they seem to be fine, even when using Prime95.

Thanks

IDK why corsair would recommend this, but whether push or pull, an intake would dump all the heat dissipated from the rad into your case, and the hot air cannot sink to bottom exit fans, if any.

I know, I've already thought about that. I was thoroughly confused too. I figured I'd leave it up to the temperature readings, they seem to be fine, so I don't have any plans on re-configuring it yet.

I have a 120mm Radiator and 2x120 HSP +2000rpm Corsair fans exhausting out of the back. With the top fans as exhaust, my Xeon E5-1650 would run at 72c under 100% load.

When I flipped the fans on top to intake, it hasn't gone over 65c.

I figured the top exhaust was robbing the rear of air, and now it's blowing cool air into it! Just thought I would share.

BTW, OP -> Here's a dual-wide filter, but it doesn't have screw holes.

I used two of these on the side. They work really well. And they fit between the fan and the side panel, so you don't have to just slap them on the side.
