Corsair Carbide 540 fans question

Hello..

So I got the carbide 540 and I'm really annoyed by the wasted top slot since it has no fans set up on it when you buy it so I'm planning to equip it with 2 fans but I have no experience with fans never bought anything more than what the cases come equipped with.
The Carbide comes with 2 input fan on the front & 1 exhaust fan on the back.
I need advice as to what shall I get ? output or input fans and which fans shall I get specifically ?

There are no such things as input or output fans. Any fan can be configured as intake or exhaust fan depending on the side you install them. That being said, I would personally put those 2 top fans as exhaust so you can drain the heat from your GPU more effectively.
