So I have an older PC that I use for the sole purpose of experimenting on and learning PC crash recovery techniques. Recently, just for fun, I transferred it's innards to a spare Corsair Carbide 540 Air case I had laying around. Now I dont want to spend any money on extra parts for this PC(i.e. updating the mobo to ATX) but the mobo of the PC I am transferring is an old mATX (B75/1155 layout). The Corsair case is prepped for standard ATX and Corsair's website claims support for mATX boards as well with this case. There are no standoffs available for anything other than ATX boards nor are there pre-drilled holes or divets for guidance.. How can I make this fit into the case? Please advise!!

That specific case has the standoff's mounted for a normal ATX board. you will need to use the removal standoff-phillips head to remove them and place them in the correct spots for your board.

Thats the first thing I check. Thanks for the quick response by the way, I think you have helped me out before :) So, checking the manual (and looking at the case) I noticed there are no indentations for guiding different board sizes. This is so weird to me because I have never seen a case like that. Do you think this is just a choice Corsair made to save a couple dollars in manufacturing?

Well darn. Thanks for the info. Do you have any experience drilling into the backboard? Im not sure how to "precisely" make the holes for the mobo..
