Question Corsair Carbide Spec 06

Hi all

I have a problem with 1 USB port on my case at the top. I’ve been doing some mods and I might have unplugged it. The front USB port is working because it’s the big black and blue cable. But I’m not sure what the second USB port looks like and how to connect it!Are both USB ports Connected via 1 cable like a splitter to the front panel on the motherboard? Many thanks

I am using CORSAIR SPEC 01, In my case, there are 2 usb ports at the front. one is 2.0 another one is 3.0
For 2.0 that cable is different (smaller in size), where 3.0 is bigger one.

So If you're having 2 X 2.0 ports, U will have only power cable (smaller one) which will be connected on the motherboard

It depends upon the type of ports

Hi there

Yes mine are exactly the same as yours the One is a big cable and the other is a smaller one. It’s plugged into the motherboard slot which said usb 3.0 and the other cable is 2.0 which is also plugged in but I’m not sure why it’s not working I just checked now. It was working fine before and when I started my pc it comes up with an error message saying usb device over current status detected system will shut down in15 seconds not sure what that means or why. Can you help
