So I'm upgrading my rig, just getting a new GTX 960 by now, I used a PSU calculator and got a recommended PSU of at least 430 W, I want a future-proof PSU so I can upgrade in a couple of years

So I though a good 600 W would be enough, but people around say that the Corsair CX series are really cheap made and everyone should avoid them if it's using something more than a casual pc, and found this CS PSU, less wattage but more reliable

The question is, Is it really worth the quality jump with less watts? 120 W are good enough for a future upgrade (probably a new CPU)?

Other options are welcome but I don't really want to spend more that 80 dollars on it

You're freaking scary man!

BTW this PSU is high above my budget, Is really cooler master a good PSU manufacturer?

Cooler Master doesn't manufacture PSUs. They contract out to OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer) for that.

The OEM for the Cooler Master V550 Semi-Modular (RS-550-AMAA-G1) is Enhance Electronics.

Enhance Electronics seems to be decent.

Between your two choices of the Corsair CX600M or the CS 550M definitely go for the CS550M.

The CX600M is based on the old group regulated circuit design.

The CS550M is based on a modern DC-toDC circuit design and built with higher quality electrolytic capacitors than the CX600M.

This one looks neat, more over, its made by Seasonic
I'm pretty worried about the size, as many people report, it's a little smaller than the standard, which would be an issue in my case, cause the psu goes in the top of it
