Corsair CX PSU's have offcentered vents partially blocked by case. Is that okay?

Hello.

I built a system in 2014 (sold it, can't take pics, but I am attaching a drawing), using a CX430. Now I'm choosing components to build another system, and I'd like to buy the 2017 CX450.

But the problem with both PSU's... The problem with any CX / VS / etc. is that they have offcentered fans. When mounted at the bottom of the case with fan facing down, the fan is covered by the case in a considerably large proportion.

Should I pick another PSU for my new system?

... because I expect to run into the same issue with the CX450, regardless of the case model (the 2014 system had a DeepCool Tesseract). I imagine all cases with bottom mounting PSU are designed for PSU's which have centered fans.

Are this type of PSU's designed to be mounted with intake facing inside the case, or what?
