CORSAIR CX430 8pin connector

So i'm wondering if there will be any problems if i order the CX430 which has an 8 pin connector for the mobo but my mobo only has a 4 pin connector. Can i just plug the 8 pin into the 4 pin and nothing will happen or i have to order a 8 pin to 4 pin converter?

The connector snaps together. It is 2- 4 pin connectors that snap together to make an 8 pin connector.

If you haven't bought it yet don't, the CX series is best avoided. It uses cheap secondary capacitors with a high failure rate.
