Hello guys

Year ago i did buy pc with this spec

8600k not overclocked
1060gb 6gb
2x 8gb ddr4 ram
128ssd
1tb harddisk
Z360 mobo
And cx430 from corsair

So im looking to upgrade my gpu with 1160 or 2060 ? is it risky ?

Solution
But can i trust that psu to protect upcomming gpu like 1070ti- 1660ti - 2060. Otherwise im going to upgrade psu and also option to buy better card like 1080ti - 2070.

Should be fine. It's just an old and not great PSU. But it won't blow up and kill all of your other parts like some of the other people's PSUs I've seen on these forums.
A year ago you bought a PC with a five year old PSU?!!? YIKES!

Well.. it's worked so far, so it should be fine for a either of those cards as they don't need that much power.
Yeah man everything on pc did seems good except that psu. Maybe i should wait for upgrade and buy psu and high end card together like 1080ti or 2070. Or just buy now 1070ti - 1160 ti - 2060 without changing psu. Which will be fine i gues.

The question is also the quality of the power supply. Right now, you have a fairly low-quality PSU protecting what is essentially a used 1060. A new 2060 is a lot more valuable than a used 1060.
