I am looking for a more stable PSU,
I found these two around the same price, which would be the better option?
Thanks for any advice!

In that price point the Seasonic S12II 620W and EVGA BQ are flawless options:

I just didn't consider the 520W model because the 620W is only 7 dollars more money. Even so, it is very likely that your system do not need more than 500W, only PCs with very power hungry GPUs requere more than that

500W units are OK for that matter...

Wow, a reply from SR-71 Blackbird! Quick correction, however: It is the CORSAIR CP-9020121-NA 550W, which is listed as the newer version of the CX series and it even shows it as CX in the product picture on Newegg. Is the verdict the same or does this change things?

CX550.

New corsair series are much better than EVGA B series

EVGA B2/B2 would be more comparable to CX550 series

Take your pick, on the one hand 620W allows you tu put every single card you through at it and OC it. If not, PSUs are subtlely more efficient and quiter as they approach to 50% load. On the other hand mudularity is a good extra feature, but not estrictly necessary.
