Basically as title say.
Both of these PSUs have a comparable prices. Both are modular. Both are Bronze. Both are more than enough for my future build and possible upgrades.

My thought - get more wattage for same price. It is also closer to peak of efficency curve.

Question: If i go with one or another, which one less likely to fail in a long run? I know htat both Corsair and CoolerMaster are respectable manufacturers, but better safe than sorry.

Additional question: There is also Corsair TX550M (gold) which is very close in price. Is it worth taking into considiration?

Solution
As DRagor said, You should go for the Corsair TX550M Gold. PSU is one of the most important parts in your system, and the better the PSU, the more your parts last. Yes, the CX550M and the G650M are good PSUs, but the TX550M will provide cleaner power to your components.

If you are concerned about efficiency, most systems designed to play games at 1080p on high settings pull about 250W-300Watts so even a 550W PSU will be pretty efficient.
