Hey Guys,

I've just bought myself a new Corsair CX600 PSU (http://www.ebuyer.com/269259-corsair-600w-cx-series-v2-psu-6x-sata-2x-pci-e-cmpsu-600cxv2uk?utm_source=google&utm_medium=products) because i've just bought the Radeon HD 5770 and i needed a better PSU.

The motherboard i have is pretty old school and is the Biostar G31D-M7 (http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=386)

The mobo documentation says that the 4pin ATX Power Source Connector needs to be connected and will provide power to the +12V CPU power circuit.

The issue is that the CX600 doesnt have this pin available and i'm not really sure what to do.

Can anyone suggest a solution? Do i now need a new Mobo? Was this one not good enough?

Probably a different PSU. My Corsair CX500M's CPU 12V line is an 8-pin that splits into 2 4 pin connections. My mobo only has a 4 pin, so this worked perfect for me.

The CX500M I have is semi modular. Not sure if the split 12V line is specific to the semi/full modular PSUs.
