Before I begin, my PC has a 250W PSU.

Without checking reviews (silly me), I bought the CX600 at a really good deal.
I have:
AMD A8-7650K (OC'd from 3.3Ghz @ 1.375V --> 4.2Ghz @ 1.4V)
CM 212 Evo installed.
Standard HDD (no SSD)
3 x 120mm fans & 1 DVD drive.
16gb Crucial RAM
MSI A68HM-E33 V2 Motherboard.

Basic!

No GPU yetas am using AMD's APU which isn't all that bad.
Am I safe with this PSU for this usage?
I wouldn't consider it extreme but, say I were to get an RX480 or 280X, would I be taking a risk with this PSU, adding my overclock?

It's worth pointing out, I don't all the time, nor do I leave my OC settings activated 24/7, just when I need the boost.
All in all, I am at £250ish for my set-up.

Thanks peeps!

Solution
Not to worry.

It will be sufficient for either graphics card.
The CX line is not considered as reliable, but it will have sufficient protective circuitry to prevent damage in the event it should fail.
Corsair is very good about the RMA process if you should ever need it.(I have returned two with no issue)

its a bad quality power supply(both) however your pc is doomed, any big graphics card will be hold back by your cpu.
however you can use that psu because for major changes you need a new motherboard cpu probably ram , a new windows license( its stuck to the mobo) a solid state drive etc.

but yeah you can use that psu

Thanks for your reply. So as long as I don't go for 4 ssds with crossfire and completely crazy with my specs I should be reasonably OK. Thanks for your comments and opinion.

@superninja12
I probably should've said that this is gaming on a budget. And I disagree that I am doomed. Sure for the high end gaming rig. I clearly missed that Mark. But I was on a strict budget this time and I feel as if I got a good deal for the money I paid for. getting a decent gpu with the overclocking of this cpu will do me just fine. Worst case I can get an fx cpu. Or get a bundle cpu with mobo.

Also I don't know where you got your info from but I got that pc with no os installed. Again. Budget oriented.
So I think I am far from 'doomed' as you so put it.
Thanks for your reply but you say it's a bad quality psu but I can use it. Doesn't make any sense. I can use it but will it be sufficient for my build. That was my question.
Geofelt nailed it. Cheers for the RMA advice Geofelt and for your informed reply.
