($99)Seasonic M12II 620W --> http://www.seasonicusa.com/M12II-Bronze.htm

Both are reputable brands, both are semi-modular, both have 80PLUS Bronze Certification...

so which PSU is better?

oh and may I know if either of these PSUs are enough to power up these components:

-Intel Core i3 550
-Sapphire Radeon HD 7870XT
-G.Skill Ripjaws 1x4GB DDR3 1333
-Samsung HD502HJ 500GB 7200RPM SATA
-Asus DRW-24B5ST 24X DVD Drive

*inclusive of using 7 USB ports which includes the mouse and the keyboard

-Thank You in Advance!

Solution
i have heard some rumblings on here that the cx series of corsair is not that great anymore. i go with the seasonic.

also your ram is not the best...get 2x4 and your comp will benifit from the dual channel ram.

sorry man, can't do 2x4 ram because of the OS(Win7 HB 32-Bit) Limit on ram... I see man, I whole heartedly appreciate your opinion, thanks for your time

then do a 2x2GB set because like ARICH5 said your system will benefit from running the dual channel setup. have a read of this thread. my post will explain why to use 2 sticks VS. 1 stick. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/332307-30-sticks

go with the seasonic and it will be enough for your system.

Seasonic, hands down. The Corsair was built by CWT, using some Samxon capacitors from their "GF" line, which is known to experience early failure.
The information trail on this starts at HardwareSecrets, a site I trust for good information about PSUs and their components.
I also agree about 2x RAM sticks being better; iirc the performance difference is in the range of 3%-5%. Can you not use a 64bit OS to use more memory?
