I know very little about PSUs so I was wondering if anyone could tell me which of these two PSU is better.
1.Zalman ZM-600-GT
2. Corsair CX600M

i'm on a fairly tight budget, and these are the two cheapest 600w psus i could find. I also live in the UK where prices are slightly higher than in America
Thanks for any help!

Corsair is generally heralded as a good supplier, but not always with their power supply units. Either their CX or HX series has some notoriety for poor performance and if you're looking for the absolute cheapest power supply, you will get what you pay for.

Generally, when I am making a decision between quality parts and cheap ones (where there is usually a line between the two), I think - Well... how much am I going to spend on alcohol or eating out this week? That puts into perspective for me my budget and where I can redirect funds.

In short, buy a good power supply with a good efficiency rating.
