Corsair CX650M loud noise

I just finished building my first pc (part list here https://pcpartpicker.com/list/B24nRG), and I noticed a loud buzzing sound coming from the power supply. It's very loud and I can hear it all the way across the room. I'm worried I'll have to dig up the power supply box and undo all my cable management to return it, but if there are other options please let me know. This psu was advertised as "quiet", and this really isn't very quiet.

If you're certain that the noise is coming from the power supply then I'd recommend you returning it. Corsair's return service is very good, I speak from experience. When my ram got bad I received new ones straight from the factory.

Nothing is as bad as risking to use a possible bad power supply. It MIGHT just be the fan inside, but just to be sure and to avoid failure..just return it.

i would check if it is not the pump on cooler that vibrate or a fan case to make shure it is psu take it out put it on a foam and start system .

I tried flipping the power supply (so the fan is on the top) and the noise hasn't come back. Will keep you guys posted if you have the same problem.

does you case was having lower vent for the psu fan .
