Are there specific way to plug in the SATA, PATA, and pcie connectors??

I think all the connectors are keyed - they only plug in one way. Or, am I misunderstanding your question?

There are 4 connector plug for pata and sata, I’m just wondering which one I should use. So far I put sata at the bottom 2 and pata on top 2 connectors on the psu. Thank god nothing is burned. The label and instructions booklet didn’t mention anything about it.

Ahhh.

It doesn't matter, all four of the the 6-pin connectors are the same and both of the 8-pin connectors are the same - all connected together inside the power supply.
