Hi all! I am looking to purchase an XFX R9 390 for my computer while its still on sale, but according to the specifications, the power requirements are:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150729

Minimum Power Supply Requirement: 750 watt
XFX Recommended Power Supply: XFX 850W PSU

In short I was absolutely shocked when I saw this and would like to know if anyone (or know anyone else) has a 750w or lesser PSU running on a R9 390 by XFX? I just want to make absolutely sure that I won't be blowing nothing up if I was to purchase this. I also heard that its never a good idea to full load a PSU and is always a good idea to leave some head room. Please take that into consideration when giving your reply. Thanks! My current specs are:

Antec 1200 / ASUS Z77 Sabertooth (BIOS v2104) / Ivy i7 3770 3.4 GHZ / Generic stock heatsink / Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1333 MHZ / SATA3 Samsung 830 SSD 250GB (Win10 PRO) / Samsung 840 SSD 120GB (Data Drive) / 750GB HDD (Data Drive) Radeon HD 7850 2GB / Onboard Sound / Corsair CX750M / ASUS VW246H. Everything running at stock.

There have been a few threads on this. The 750 is overkill. I run a 620 seasonic. 390 pulls 270 tops in games even with an overclock and voltage. I measured from wall and took worst case psu efficiency. A good 650 will be fine with your system
