Hi,

I have the following system:

Asus Z97 Pro Gamer mobo
i7-4790K CPU
2 x Corsair DDR3 Vengeance Pro Gold PC3-19200 (2400) 8GB RAM

On powering on, the system shows I have 16GB 1333MHz RAM rather than 2400MHz. Is there a BIOS setting I need to change or could the RAM or mobo be faulty? It does this whether the sticks are in a pair or individually.

Yep just like tiny voices said. Just go into the BIOS and enable the XMP profile, if your BIOS layout is similar to mine, you should have the option in the user friendly part of the bios, not the advanced part (you can do it in both, but the user friendly one will be easier).
