Corsair Dominator question

Okey, so I got this ram now : Corsair Dominator DHX+ DDR3 1600MHz 4GB Kit w/2x 2GB XMS3 DHX+, CL8-8-8-24, for Core i3/i5/i7, 1.65v, but I need some more ram and I can't buy another 2x 2GB kit since one of my ram slots ain't in good shape(When I use the slot my screen is just black when I boot)

So I was wondering about this ram:
Corsair Dominator DHX DDR3 1600MHz 8GB Kit w/2x 4GB XMS3 DHX, CL9-9-9-24, for Core i3/i5/i7, 1.65v. Slower latency, but does it make any big difference ?

I would be extremely surprised if you could show a noticeable difference from slightly worse latency.
