Corsair Gaming Mice

Admirable
So I currently have a Sabre RGB. I like it because it has a minimalist design. I have the K95 RGB keyboard which already has 18 macro buttons so I feel like having a mouse with a ton of buttons is pretty pointless, especially since I literally use about 4 buttons on my mouse as it is, including left and right clicks, and the wheel click.

My issue is the switches (left) are going bad (double click, can't hold down the mouse button for long, etc.) so I either need to repair it or replace it altogether. I've had it a year and a half so it is within warranty still, and I don't really care to try to fix it myself.

I'm looking at some of them but I really don't know which one would suit me best.

I am mainly looking for:
1. Reliability (speed, low latency, precision, and longevity)
2. Comfort (some days I have 12-14 hour sessions this is a must! my Sabre would cramp my hand after about 3-4 hours)
3. Looks.

My main contenders are:
1. Sticking with the Sabre (cost-effective, minimalist, although not comfortable and switches aren't great as I have come to find)
2. Scimitar (very similar to the Sabre, however, will likely not use many of the macro buttons if any, same stupid switches as Sabre, probably will also cramp my hand with extended use)
3. Glaive (Looks decent, has better switches, has custom hand/thumb rests, minimalist design, can't see the DPI settings, which I DO NOT like, I switch between profiles depending on what games I am playing and I sometimes accidentally change them, I use color coding to see which one I am on and it's nice to do so without having to move my hand.)
4. Dark Core (looks really cool and really comfy, appears to be high quality, however, it is wireless.. it says 1ms but I'm not really sure how that will affect my gameplay.)

Solution
If it's covered under warranty I wouldn't bother trying to fix it yourself. You could probably find a decent mouse to use in the meantime as your waiting for the fix and the reviews.

Yes and no. I am so clumsy I might accidentally change the dpi with the thumb button (also a reason the Scimitar worries me), and it appears to only have two DPI settings to change to/from I use at least 3, sometimes 4. Aside from that it also appears to have at least similar switches to the Sabre and Scimitar.

I think I am going to wait for the Dark Core reviews and see what happens I have small issues with all the other mice and don't feel 100% willing to buy anything other than the Dark Core or stick with my Sabre. I might just get the Dark Core SE and hope that they come out with an RGB MM1000.

But until then what should I do?

Should I try to fix my Sabre myself? or get a cheap replacement until the Sabre can be fixed?

Currently have a Microsoft 4000 Wireless that I use for my work laptop. The DPI sucks and its got noticeable input lag :) I have to move the mouse about 4 inches to move from one side of my 15" Macbook Pro to the other 😀

Do you have any suggestions for around $20? (Preferably $20 or under)

That could work. I had to look up my current mouse DPI... its only 1,000 xD

I think I would like something in the wireless department though. Something that will work for gaming for now, but that I can use at work to replace this Microsoft mouse.
