Corsair GS800 PSU

Running a Corsair GS800. I have a whole bundle of Sata plugs and 2 bundles of Molex connectors. They are over staying their welcome in my cramped case. Not being modular sucks. Can these be snipped and correctly covered safely?

They certainly can be snipped and covered. Electrical on (each) live wires would work.

Seems a little overkill though..... they're not just tucked away? Out of sight...
