Ok so i finally got a ssd i was gonna use it as a boot drive but i only have 60gb so i put my most played games in the folders instead like SCII, L4D2, BF3, and skyrim, but the problem is it feel slow? Idk like loading times i expected to be a lot faster but it feels the same my other hard drives are 2 seagate barrucuda sataIII 7200rpm, and i put all my setting on AHCI already.
I'm not sure but i feel the benchmarks are fine i just installed the game incorrectly? I'm not sure anyways how do i install bf3 into my ssd i've been pondering that because theres no option to move it and if i do move it out of program files it doesnt work, Steam games i use steam mover but it still feels slow SCII i just copy and pasted the folder and deleted the old one.
idk how to paste a picture of my bench marks but on
CrystalDiskMArk 3.0.1 it says
Seq : 416.7/80.72 (read left/ write right)
512K: 375.1/82.76
4k: 24.46/56.36
4k QD32 98.54/76.37
And on ATTO disk bench marks its
Read on right side, Write on left side 1024KB=4666265/551579

Your sequential writes seem pretty low. Do you have it on an Intel SATA III port? Or maybe a Marvell port?

Also check and see if your SSD partition is aligned correctly, in the Start menu type in msinfo32 into the run box. Go to Components, Storage, Disks and find your SSD on the list and look at the "Partition Starting Offset." Divide this number by 4096 and if you have no remainder then your partition is correctly aligned. If not, you need to realign it.
