Corsair H100i fan cables

Hi, i just installer a corsair h100i and the two fans that cool the radiator are connected to the pump with a Y cable. I was wondering if i can plug the fan directly onto the motherboard. Should be the same thing right?

Yes, you can, though you might not be able to control them through Corsair's software if you do that. No worries, since there are plenty of other software you can use to control fans, and I believe your motherboard comes with a fan control utility.

i want to do that because now i can't control them, and didn't know there a was a software from corsair. but for me plugging them on the motherboard is better so i can control everything from one place

Cool. Just plug 'em into the mobo and you're good to go.
