corsair h100i high temps

So i just built a custom rig, asus maximus vii hero, gtx 980, corsair 450d case, and the corsair h100i cooler. My idle temps are around late 30s to mid 40c, my cpu voltage is 1.1v. I'm not sure if it's an airflow problem or it's not mounted correctly, i've tried a few times all giving me the same numbers. Any suggestions on how to lower temps?

it depends on your cpu. Make sure the fans are plugged in and try different fan configurations as well. could potentially try different fans with higher static pressure. also make sure it is working properly and that the thermal paste was applied correctly.
