I managed to put in the wrong standoffs (I put in the 2011 when I needed the 1150 standoffs).

Do I NEED to replace it, can I get away with using it for now and waiting for a delivery or can I just use it as is?

Thanks in advance

Like is said, if it was detected a short time after installing it, then its no prob. The "1 min" was just a figure of speech. :)

It was around 5 minutes between removing it, installing the correct stand offs and pushing it onto the CPU again. The first time I couldn't secure it because of the stand offs, so the machine hasn't been on yet.

I continued ahead with my build and did some stress testing to verify that the thermal paste was ok. At 100% load on my i7-4770k, the H100i kept the temperature under 50 celsius on a custom fan curve that got up to around 1800RPM.

Socket or core temp?
Stock or overclocket?

Stock at the time, but I've got an "OC" at 4.0Ghz now. The CPU is around 35C idle, sometimes a little over 50 with the OC. Within acceptable ranges for myself. I'm not sure how big of a difference between the H100i temperature and the CPU temperature there should be but I'm assuming the gap of a few Celsius is to do with them being different sensors etc.
