Hi,

I have 4770k with H100i liquid cooling. After our vacation last April, while using my PC, it shutdown automatically. Whe I restarted it, it gave me a CPU Temp over error. I boot to bios, and no Cpu Fan is detected, no rpm. Only my assist fans on mobo and chassis fan3 which is the exhaust fan are detected.

Here is what I tried:

1. Connected 3pin of cooler to opt fan header, not detected. ( it was on CPU FAN header before)

2. Connected exhaust fan to cpu fan header, cpu fan detected, still high temp 80-90, still no cpu opt fan (cooler 3pin connected)

3. Tried to connect 3pin of h100i to chassis fan3 header, chassis fan3 not detected in bios.

It seems the 3pin connector of the h100i is broken or must be the h100i itself. Anyone has a workaround for the 3pin connector, or other suggestions? I'm kinda not 100% sure if thats the real issue but since no cpu fan is detected in bios, thats all I did so far.

Additional info: disabled monitoring for cpu so i wont get the error message on boot.

Thanks in advance!
