Corsair H100i support for socket 1150

According to corsairs website the h100i supports socket 1150 but according to many resellers it does not support socket 1150.Could someone that really owns the h100i + 1150 socket mobo tell me if it works

The H100i would be a flop if it didn't support the major platform in use today

I would advise that you listen to a H100i and look at some reviews before buying. That ah heck is louder than grandma's vacuum cleaner.

The Noctua DH-15 beats the H100i by 2C while the H100i is 12 times louder.
The Cryorig R1 beats the H100i by 3C while the H100i is 8 times louder.
The H220-X beats the H100i by 7C while the H100i is 6 times louder.

The H100i uses mixes metals in the loop (copper plate / aluminum rad) a big no-no in water cooling due to galvanic corrosion.

I have a H100i with a 4790k - it fits, it's quiet, and works great. You have nothing to worry about.

"Worry" is perhaps a strong word but one certainly should consider before buying:

-Am I getting the best option available for my money when cheaper or equal cost solutions perform better ?

You realize that if you set ANY fans to over 2000RPM it will be crazy loud, right?

The H100i allows you to modify fan speeds by specific RPM that you can set manually, or select 1 of 4 included fan speed curves, or create your own.

At 1200 RPM the fans are virtually silent, and my 4790k idles around 23*. Rarely does it ever get into the 40s.

This is coming from someone who owns and uses the product.
