[SOLVED] corsair h100i usb

I was building my first pc and when I got all done with the cooler I forgot to plug the usb cable from the pump to the board. I have ran it a couple of hours gaming, am I ok?

Yes, Most likely running with default pump curve. When you change settings they will be remembered even if Icue is not running.

that makes me feel better. Thanks for the reply. I have a second question though.....to plug this usb cable in I already have a usb header attached. where would this one go?

If you dont nhave an additional one on Motherboard buy a cable that will plug into a back panel Usb and will match your controller (mini usb I think)

Actually, this gets a bit tricky. The normal cable supplied with the H100i system is one that plugs into a MOBO USB2 header (a "9-1" pin design), and not a standard USB2 Type A connector like outside sockets accept. So IF your mobo has NO unused USB2 headers available, you do have a problem. In that case, ask Tech Support at Corsair if they can recommend a solution.
