Question Corsair H100x doesn't fit B450

Hi guys,

I'm mid build and I've bought a H100x cpu cooler and I'm trying to fit in on my B450 Tomahawk Max

Now the backplate for the cooler is way too big for the motherboard. Ive googled the life out of it and the only thing people say is that you have to move the screws. Even when I do that it's still way too big.

Anyone had this problem?

I've had to go mad and use the AMD fitting around the cooler and secure it in place with the plastic part that goes around the CPU anyway.

Just for that last bit I re-read it and it sounds odd. So I've had to use the original backplate for the motherboard and take off the 2 plastic parts on the front that are currently screwed into the backplate. Lie my cooler flush against my cpu and secure it by screwing those plastic things back on..

It looks secure.. Just a bit crap that I couldn't actually fit it the way it should be fit
